Sweden’s apparel imports fall as China strengthens market share

Sweden’s apparel imports fell 2.6 per cent year on year to $2.422 billion in H1 2026, but Asian suppliers strengthened their position.
China’s shipments rose 5.8 per cent to $447.859 million, lifting its share to 18.48 per cent, while Bangladesh retained second place.
Denmark, Germany and Poland posted double-digit declines; cotton and trousers and shorts led fibre and product categories.
