US fashion companies sourced apparel from 49 countries in 2026, up from 46 in 2025, but only 21.1 per cent expect to add countries.
TexPro says US HS 61 and 62 apparel imports fell 7.77 per cent to $36.90 billion in H1 2026.
Some 47.4 per cent plan fewer suppliers as buyers seek stronger vendors with traceability, compliance, speed and multi-country options.
