US’ Somnigroup completes $2.3 bn Leggett & Platt combination

Somnigroup has completed its all-stock combination with Leggett & Platt, valued at $2.3 billion including debt.
The merged bedding and engineered components group operates over 170 plants in 37 countries, backed by more than 36,000 staff.
The deal deepens Somnigroup’s vertical integration, secures a critical supply-chain element and lifts annual run-rate synergy expectations to $75 million.
